High School Tech Certification

Memphis Business Academy students gain an edge in tech career preparation with the completion of the CompTIA IT Fundamentals course.  A group of 25 participants have been selected to complete the program. Students will be able to pursue lucrative careers in the computer networking or cybersecurity sectors after program completion and help meet the growing demand for technology professionals. 

As technology demands grow, companies in every industry are focused on hiring talented and trained IT professionals who can install, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of complex networking systems. 

The Global Information Security Workforce Study, 2017, from the ISC Center for Cyber Safety and Education, states there will be a shortage of 1.8 million cybersecurity professionals by 2022. The report also estimates that the U.S. will have a shortage of 265,000  cybersecurity qualified workers by 2020.

The partnership with I am IT Training is giving Memphis students a distinct advantage over others entering the workforce.
